I am a huge Anker fanboy and generally love all their products including those of their sub-brands like Eufy. Initially, my wife, son, and I were amazed at the incredible picture quality we could get for around $150 for a 1080p projector. It wasn't especially bright or easy to see during daylight but during lower ambient light situations, the picture was surprisingly good. However, the initial good impressions wore out quickly when we noticed the extremely choppy refresh rate. My wife is susceptible to motion sickness and I am very sensitive to flickering and frame/refresh rate issues. The Prizm II struggled constantly to show video that was smooth when any significant motion was being presented. It was very disappointing. There were no firmware upgrades available for the device from what I could tell. Trying to use a Chromecast, Roku, and my iPhone directly to play on the projector did not address this motion issue. We ended up returning the projector very shortly after purchasing as the motion issues were unpleasant and not worth keeping even for the very reasonable price we purchased it for.

Box arrived two days after I ordered it. Super easy to set up. It has HDMI input. It has USB as well, I assume for memory sticks. The remote is very easy to use.I have an expensive LCD projector that I got years ago. So I have used them at home and work.Because this is an LED, there is virtually no warmup time for the lamp. My old one could take almost a minuteThe brightness is much lower, so be prepared to watch in much dinner ambient light. There is no Zoom function, so distance from projector surface is sole determination of display size. Mine came already focused.I plugged in an Amazon Fire TV stick and it works flawlessly. For the price and brand that I trust, just don't think you can go wrong with this projector. I plan to take camping to display for the kids.I already have a projection screen, and that doea make a difference, although it did cost the same as this projector

Good projector if you can get over the irregularly spaced mounting holes, and the extremely short power cord.Seriously Anker, this is a huge problem. Why is the power brick on a cord that is less than 6 feet? Thisakes it nearly impossible to mount this projector. Save your money if that's what you plan.

Replacement has been sent, as usual their support team is on top of things. So after about a day of using this projector it's SERIOUS flaws started to show. As others have pointed out this thing has severe frame rate issues. Anything with high movement feels like a slide show at times. I took video of this and sent to Anker support who said it's "Normal" for this chipset. If this is indeed normal there is no way this is progressive 60Hz. It feels like watching a 32fps video (yes it's that bad). Also, the two modes in a complete dark environment are just not enough. The standard brightness is just too dim for any movies that involve darker scenes even at a normal distance. The "Bright" is absolutely terrible. It completely washes out any details and looks like a white haze. I took extensive photo and video evidence and sent this to their support team all to be told this is normal. Again none of this could have passed any sort of QA and be called normal.Even worse, I was told that the occasional video scrolling that hits randomly and makes the projector completely useless is ALSO normal. I expected more, and initially was super happy but it doesn't take long to start seeing the major flaws this projector has.1. Brightness - Bright mode creates a severely washed out image, Standard mode looks good as long as you don't watch content with dark scenes in which you can't see anything.2. Focus - Absolutely terrible. Center point looks fantastic, outside edges are incredibly blurry. This was after proper adjustments and a flat properly installed screen. It's like seeing 4x the detail center vs outer edges.3. Scrolling - Random intervals I see a scrolling effect think like seeing the screen slide by over and over and have to reboot the projector. According to one of their engineers this is "normal". That alone convinced me to return this thing if this is normal as this makes ANY content completely impossible to watch.I have been an Anker fan for years. That being said I was reluctant to purchase this projector. I know what you're thinking for $200 bucks it cant be THAT good can it? Wrong. This projector has insane value for what it can do. Firstly let's get a few things out of the way.Original ReviewBrightness - For 200 ANSI lumens this projector really "shines" in a low to completely dark environment. So don't expect to use this in a room filled with lights. If like me you want to convert your living room or space into a theater with a 100" or smaller screen this does the job surprisingly well.Clarity - It's a manual lens, meaning once you set everything up you need to really take your time dialing it in. However, once I did a couple passes I got the sharpness VERY well set. At a viewing distance of about 6-8 feet or more you can't even see the pixels and the quality for THIS price point made my jaw drop.Sound - Here is where this puppy really blew me away. I mounted this thing directly above my theater style seats and BOY does it sound fantastic! I was honestly doing double takes at how crisp and punchy this things built in audio is. It's not quite as powerful when set up further away but if you can put it close or preferably above you this thing delivers high quality sound bar levels of audio.Cons - If you plan on hooking this up anywhere other than a few feet from an outlet purchase an extended mickey mouse cable (6ft or more) as the included cable is about 6 feet total. Not a big deal 5 bucks on Amazon and you're set.I loved the interface super simple and easy to use, the remote control is nice but you will have to have it in order to do ANYTHING other than power it on or off. So don't lose it. One last note this has zero OS built in. So have a Chromecast or Firetv stick handy. The included USB port supplies enough power for either device so no need to run another power cord.In my opinion no other projector even CLOSE to this price point offers this much value. Especially in the audio department I was totally blown away. I am actually thinking of picking up another one for my patio because it's SO cheap. Just remember if you want to have lights on this isn't for you. Having one dim light source is fine and doesn't affect the image but turning on the lights in the room will wash out the picture fast.Great job Anker! Super impressed.

Returned. Don’t waste ur time. Originally thought it was a great product, simple menu, low cost but the picture was always out of focus. I spent hours but you can focus the edges or the center but never both. I tried different lengths, angles, etc but nothing works.

When looking at this projector, one must compare it to the price point. To get a usable brightness with true 1080p for this price point is impressive. The picture quality is great, but for this price point, you lose a lot of nice features. There's only 2 settings for brightness (standard and bright). The keystone correction is manual with the remote, not automatic. The focus is manual as well, but has very fine adjustment for a wide range of lengths. There's no zoom on the lens, so placement location is key to get the projection screen size you want. If you can overcome those set-up issues that make set up a little more finicky, you do get a great picture and performance for movie night out in the yard, etc. The unit is a bit large to be considered "portable", but feels very solid and heavy. The build quality is very good, and overall, I'm shocked at how much this unit offers for the price. If you are considering this vs. any of the "HD compatible" projectors that have low native resolutions, the Nebula Prism II is a much better choice.
